Radiometric thermal imaging captures temperature patterns across a roof, facade, or building system from the air. Because it's radiometric, every pixel carries an actual temperature value — not just a color — so an anomaly can be measured and compared, not just seen.
A thermal-equipped drone flies the same pattern a visual scan would, capturing a temperature map layered over the property. Warmer or cooler zones — around HVAC units, seams, or wall assemblies — show up as clear anomalies against the surrounding surface.
Thermal imagery can reveal temperature anomalies that may be consistent with moisture, insulation gaps, air leakage, equipment heat, or other conditions that warrant closer investigation. It doesn't diagnose the cause on its own — it tells you where to look before a small issue becomes an expensive one.
